The Little Match Girl is a touching story that also takes place on New Year’s Eve. On this special night, as people celebrated and welcomed the new year with joy and excitement, the little girl found herself alone on the cold streets, trying to sell her matches.
She lit her matches one by one, not only seeking a respite from the freezing temperatures but also hoping to catch a glimpse of the celebrations happening around her.
With each match she lit, she saw beautiful visions of happiness, warmth, and joy.‌
However, as the matches burned out, the harsh reality of her situation returned, and she was once again left in the cold darkness…
